Live on the Vine is a 6 week mid-winter music festival that takes place in Long Island’s unique vineyard tasting rooms, hotels and other venues on the East End. It has been recognized for its cultural tourism impact during an off season and has greatly stimulated the business economy during the cold winter months. Conceived in 2006, this event is well on its way to becoming a regional and even national attraction with great growth potential. In 2012 Winterfest Jazz on the Vine was awarded the National Destination Marketing Award by Americans for the Arts and Destination Marketing International, a prestigious award validating our work and our vision which includes expanding our overall musical selection to encompass talented performers in jazz, blues, soul and country (hence the name modification, “Live” on the Vine.)

Live on the Vine is a successful collaborative effort between East End Arts, The Long Island Wine Council, and Long Island Convention & Visitors Bureau, with support from Suffolk County under the auspices of the Office of Film & Cultural Affairs. This year we are very proud to announce that Suffolk County National Bank has joined on as our Title Sponsor! We thank them and look forward to an exciting and fruitful collaboration!

The 7th Annual Winterfest Live on the Vine will once again feature world class musicians paired with Long Island’s award-winning wines and superb local cuisine.

Spend an afternoon or weekend with us or come for the entire festival!  Experience the best jazz, blues, soul and country music east of NYC, drink delicious wine, enjoy local specialties and end the night at one of our romantic hotels and B&Bs!

Winterfest Live on the Vine runs from February 8 - March 16 (rescheduled performances will be held the weekend of March 23).
